Two Paths
This week I have been reading Psalm 1. It is unknown who wrote this psalm, but it describes two ways: the way of the righteous and the way of the wicked…
“Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night. Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away. For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.”
This Psalm is very clear: Choose God and that pathway leads to His protection and blessing. The other pathway leads to the opposite, and ultimately ruin and downfall. As we say goodbye to 2018 and head towards 2019 let me encourage you to make the right choice. The great news is Jesus makes it possible for everyone to travel on the pathway that leads to God’s protection and blessing. Choose God’s path now and into 2019...
